Requirements for Certified Divers

Since you’re already certified, you’ll need to bring your dive certification card (such as a PADI or SSI card) to any rental shop. Most shops require this as proof of certification before renting out scuba gear. In addition to the card, be ready to show photo ID if needed. If you haven’t dived recently, some shops may ask about your recent dive experience to ensure you’re comfortable in the water.

If you’re looking to join a dive tour or charter, most shops are happy to include certified divers on their tours, and they may suggest refresher dives if it’s been a while since your last dive.
