HONOLULU (KHON2) — Tensions were high at the Hawaiian Humane Society’s Kosasa Family Campus at Hoopili as three pups predicted who would win Sunday’s Big Game.
Pawtrick Pawhomes, Mele Mikey and Blitz Buddy made up Team Hooligan and spent the morning of Friday, Feb. 7 anxiously awaiting to make their Big Game selection.
When the time came, the Hawaiian Humane Society placed two bowls on either side of the field, one with a Kansas City Chiefs logo and one with a Philadelphia Eagles logo.
KHON2’s Living808 Host John Veneri then blew the whistle and Team Hooligan was placed in the center of the field.
Almost immediately, Blitz Buddy and Pawtrick Pawhomes headed toward the Philadelphia Eagles endzone, while Mele Mikey scoped out the Kansas City Chiefs bowl.
Eventually, the three pups came to a unanimous decision that the Philadelphia Eagles would be the winner of the Big Game.
Of course, they couldn’t leave the other bowl full, so after they finished their meal at the Eagles endzone, they headed back to the Chiefs to clean out that side.
