Hawaii Softball gets the Walk-Off win vs Utah Tech

The Hawaii Softball team was in their 2nd game of the Spring Fling Tournament in Manoa on Friday.

UH faced-off against Utah Tech in the final game of the 2nd day of action.

The Rainbow Wahine trailed 1-0 after the 2nd inning but was able to tie it up with an RBI Single from Thomas.

But in the 6th inning, the Trailblazers retook the lead after getting a RBI single to 3rd base.

Hawaii had one more chance to tie it or take the lead in the 7th inning after Murakami started the inning off with a double down the right field line for Hawaii’s only second hit of the game.

The Rainbow Wahine battled to get bases loaded in the 7th inning with only 1 out and a chance to make something happen. And Hawaii does just that.

Millie Fidge had a hit down the 3rd baseline that sent in 2-runs for the Hawaii win.

Hawaii wins 3-2 and improves to 6-1 on the season.
