The Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Basketball Team is currently on a 13-game winning streak in 2025.

Sisters, Lily Wahinekapu and Jovi Lefotu are helping lead they for Hawaii as the two siblings take the court by storm for their final season at UH together.

“Especially after getting injured and missing a whole year, playing together on the court, because this is the last year, just playing for her (Wahinekapu) and I want her to go out with a bang,” said Lefotu.

Wahinekapu and Lefotu sat down with KHON2 Sports to talk about the season and experience to play alongside a sibling at the Division 1 College level.

“It’s amazing. We’ve always had this dream to play together in college and just to do this together and have that dream come true means a lot to us,” said Wahinekapu.
