HONOLULU (KHON2) — Two women were arrested in connection with a child’s death, including the child’s biological mother.

Police said the girl was three years old when she was found dead in June 2024 in Kapolei and added she was emaciated and covered in bruises.

Both women were arrested on Thursday, Feb. 27, in the Kalihi area.

They were booked on suspicion of murder, kidnapping, assault and other offenses. They have not been charged.
