The (4) Hawaii Rainbow Warriors hosted (3) UC Irvine on Friday at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
Hawaii in their 1st conference game of the season, in a battle against a top team in the nation.
The ‘Bows not shying away as they win in 3 straight sets (25-21, 26-24, 25-22).
Kristian Titriyski lead the way with 17 kills. Adrien Roure finished with 9 kills, Tread Rosenthal added 36 assists.
In the 1st set the bows hit .583 from the floor and despite dropping to .158 from the floor in the 2nd set, UH was able to hold on for the win in both of those frames.
Hawaii closed it out in the 3rd after holding a 17-13 lead.
