The University of Hawai‘i Athletics Department has announced a new multi-year partnership with Nike and BSN SPORTS, making them the official outfitter of UH Athletics.
The agreement, set to begin on July 1, 2025, and run through June 30, 2032, will provide all UH athletics teams with Nike apparel, footwear, and equipment. The partnership aims to enhance support for Rainbow Warrior and Rainbow Wahine student-athletes.
“We are excited about this new partnership with Nike and BSN Sports,” UH Acting Athletics Director Lois Manin said. “The Nike brand helps us in so many ways, and we look forward to collaborating with them and BSN Sports to provide quality apparel and service for our student-athletes.”
This marks a return to Nike for UH Athletics, which last donned the brand’s uniforms in the 2007-08 season. That year, the UH football team notably sported Nike gear during its historic undefeated season, culminating in an appearance at the Sugar Bowl.
Following the 2007-08 season, UH partnered with Under Armour, a relationship that lasted until 2021, when the university transitioned to Adidas.
BSN Sports, a leading marketer, manufacturer, and distributor of sporting goods apparel and equipment, will play a key role in delivering Nike products to UH Athletics.
“We are thrilled for the opportunity to partner alongside Nike in supporting University of Hawai‘i Athletics and their continued growth over the next seven years,” said Todd Northrop, vice president of Collegiate Select at BSN Sports.
“Through our collegiate partnerships nationwide, we have sharpened the collegiate service experience and understand the unique needs in this space. This partnership will undoubtedly benefit the athletes, coaches, and supporters of UH Athletics with top-tier access to premier Nike products and the customizable service solutions BSN SPORTS brings to the table.”
As part of the agreement, Nike apparel for UH supporters will also be available for purchase.
