‘Bows fall to CSUN, finish 9th in Big West Conference standings

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in a win or go home game against CSUN on Saturday.

Hawaii sitting in the final playoff spot in the Big West Conference heading into Saturday, needed either to beat CSUN or Cal Poly to lose to Long Beach State.

Cal Poly defeated Long Beach State to put the ‘Bows fate into their own hands.

Hawaii in the 1st half coming out firing as they took a 1 point lead into the halftime break after shooting nearly 42% from the field.

But in the 2nd half, it was a different story as CSUN came out as the hot team who took a 13 point lead over the ‘Bows.

Hawaii just unable to retake the lead as they fall 82-73.

UH shoots 40% from the field and commits 14 turnovers.

The ‘Bows drop to 9th in the Big West Conference and miss out on the Big West Conference Tournament next week.

UH finishes the season 15-16 and 7-13 in Conference play.
