‘Bows volleyball opens road trip with a sweep

The fourth-ranked University of Hawai‘i men’s volleyball team opened its four-match road trip in dominant fashion, sweeping Belmont Abbey on Thursday night at the Wheeler Center.

The Rainbow Warriors (10-1) cruised past the Crusaders 25-15, 25-15, 25-23 to pick up their 10th win of the season.

Setter Tread Rosenthal led the offense with 39 assists, while Kainoa Wade made the most of his time on the court, contributing six kills and two aces.

Louis Sakanoko paced the Warriors with 14 kills on just 19 swings, delivering an efficient performance.

Hawai‘i continues its North Carolina road trip with a matchup against Queens on Friday at 1 p.m. HT. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
