HONOLULU (KHON2) — An investigation is underway for a crash on Pali Highway that left one motorcyclist dead.
First responders were called to the incident near Saint Stephen Diocesan Center shortly before 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 2.
According to Honolulu police, a 56-year-old male motorcyclist was driving north on Pali Highway.
At the same time, a 73-year-old female in a small sedan was driving south on the highway and attempted to make a left turn into Saint Stephen Diocesan Center.
The male motorcyclist broadsided the sedan. He was ejected onto the roadway.
Paramedics arrived and delivered life-saving measures to both parties.
The motorcyclist was brought to an area hospital in critical condition where he later died. The female driver was also transported in serious condition.
