LAHAINA, Hawaii (KHON2) — The Lahaina Food and Wine Festival is set to make its debut from Feb. 19 to Feb. 23 at locations across Lahaina, showcasing local culinary experiences.
With 2025 being the first year of this festival, organizers aim to create an unforgettable experience by bringing together celebrated chefs, world-class wines and premium dining experiences. The festival will include wine-paired dinners, tastings and interactive events.
Dining destinations participating in the festival include Mala Ocean Tavern and Coco Deck.
Mala will have an Italian wine dinner on Feb. 19, which includes a four-course dinner featuring winemakers and top chefs. Coco Deck will also be hosting an industry wine tasting event for hospitality professionals.
In addition to the events held by those restaurants, the festival will also have a ramen event, burgundy wine dinner and a free keiki cooking class.
“This festival is about bringing people together over incredible food and wine,” said Caleb Hopkins, owner of Hana Hou Hospitality and sommelier. “Maui deserves a food and wine event that celebrates craftsmanship, passion and community. Whether you’re an industry professional, a wine enthusiast or just someone who loves a great meal, this will be an experience to remember.”
The festival is supported by the LahainaTown Action Committee, who sees the event as a big step in strengthening West Maui’s restaurant and hospitality industries.
“Bringing an event like this to Lahaina is about more than just great food and wine–it’s about community, resilience and celebrating what makes Maui special,” said Sne Patel, president of the LahainaTown Action Committee. “We are excited to welcome both visitors and locals to experience the dynamic culinary scene that continues to thrive here.”
