KAHALA, Hawaii (KHON2) — Honolulu police have opened an active investigation following an overnight barricade in the Kahala area.
Officers were called to Oili Loop around 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 to respond to an order violation. The incident was later updated to “threatening.”
In a social media post, HPD confirmed they were responding to a barricade situation.
The street was reopened on Saturday, March 1, shortly after 6 a.m.
It is unclear if any arrests have been made.
