HONOLULU (KHON2) — Susan Hankins, an Oahu woman charged with negligent homicide in the death of a 90-year-old man, made her first court appearance this Tuesday morning.

Court documents reveal that Hankins struck Lino Tolentino while he was crossing the street on November 4, 2023.

Hankins was arrested last week and entered a not guilty plea on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025.

Her trial is scheduled to begin on April 21.
