The Hawaii Softball team hosted Sacramento State on Saturday in the Spring Fling Tournament.
Hawaii and Sacrament State both scored 1 run in the 1st inning, but in the 3rd inning, the Rainbow Wahine broke the tie after scoring a run off of a McGaughey RBI Single.
Those would be the only runs needed for UH as they hold Sacramento State scoreless for the final 6 innings.
With this one, Hawaii softball improves to 7-1, which is their best start to a season since 2019 when Hawaii also started the season 7-1.
Next: home vs Cal State Bakersfield at 12pm and vs Utah Tech at 2:30pm.
