HPD seeks public’s help after officer’s firearm stolen in Hawaii Kai

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in finding an officer’s personal items after they were stolen this morning in the Hawaii Kai area.

According to HPD, the officer’s duty belt, which contained a firearm, badge, and radio, was taken while the officer’s vehicle was parked.

The badge, radio, and other items have been recovered, but the firearm remains missing.
